Current standings and previous match results
The second match in the series held on Mallard and Grebe Lake’s continued to be hard for the 14 anglers fishing, with a cold North Easterly wind, rain and the water level rising fast during the match only 2 carp were caught.
Fishing peg 2 on Grebe Gary had one carp of 8lb 1oz to continue his good run of form and win the match, although he was a little disappointed to pull out of another good carp as he tried to stop it running around the corner of the island.
Graham Johnson fishing peg 25 on Mallard was second with one carp for 3lb 13oz.

The first match of the season was very well attended with 27 anglers needing Mallard, Grebe and Teal lakes to be used. Unfortunately the result did not reflect the keen anglers attending. Possbly as a result of the changeable weather only 2 anglers caught fish.
With one Common Carp of 3lb 8oz was Martin who used ledgerd maggots and fished from peg 15 on Grebe Lake.
With one tiny 1/2oz oach was Mr Barber fishing from peg 11
