WILLOW BANKS

We are pleased to offer the Willow Banks plots available to reserve NOW. If you are interested in securing your place on this, our flagship development, don't delay and risk missing out on your chosen plot. UPDATE Plot 1 has just been sold.

GENERAL

Weather conditions have been hampering progress this week as the rain has made it impractical to be working on the land. Work on the swimming pool remodelling has started and is progressing well.

WILLOW BANKS

Work installing the main services infrastructure has commenced and is expected to continue until the last week of February.

Our first leisure lodge is expected to be delivered during the first week of March and will be assembled and available to view on our Main Sales Area.

Interest in the plots has been even higher than expected and we hope to finalise the first sales once customers have viewed the display model.

TOURING AREAS

Roadway: The extension to the road on the left hand side of the watersports lake has been completed, the ground and the plots either side have been leveled and are ready for turf, which we expect to lay in the next two weeks weather permitting.

Water/Waste Points: The Elsan/Water/Fire points on the left hand side of the watersports lake have been demolished and we are installing new water & fire points in three locations, Each of these will now have pathways leading to them and a greater area of surfacing together with new style stainless steel water points, similar to the one installed in Heronsfield last year.

The old Elsan/Waste water disposal locations have been removed and the new central Elsan/Waste water disposal is located at the rear of the toilet block on the left hand side of the watersports lake. This location will offer easy access with car parking, a pathway and above all else is not right next to somebody's pitch.

Landscaping: We are also planting several new shrub beds around the toilet block and our gardeners are busy replanting areas of our hedgerows that have become thin.

In Heronsfield the two smaller rose beds at the entrance are being completely overhauled with up to 200 additional roses in the beds which have had their surfaces lowered in an attempt to reduce the migration of bark onto the roadway.

Electric Points: We have installed and connected almost all of the new meter boxes and are aiming to complete these in the next few days. The re-numbering of all of the new boxes should take place this week, weather permitting.

SWIMMING POOL: At last we have got the go ahead to remodel the swimming and paddling pools. Work will commence within the next week. The main pool depth will be reduced with a range of approx 1m to 1.2m and completely re-lined. The old paddling pool is to be infilled and a new 8m round paddling pool with a fun mushroom shower water feature will be constructed. Both pools will now be heated and utilise the same filter system. The pool area will also be completely remodelled with new surfacing and extensive landscaped areas.

FOOTPATH: We have almost completed the new pathway outside the Restaurant and Amusements building, which means that wheelchairs and buggies will not have to negotiate steps or use the road to get past or into this building.

FISHING MATCHES: We will be announcing the dates of the fishing matches before the end of February, so check this page or our fishing page regularly.

PARK CLOSED FOR WINTER

1st November - The Park is now closed for overnight stays.

Caravan Owners and prospective purchasers may still visit the Park between 9am and 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday.

There is no pedestrian or vehicular access across the ski lake bridge until further notice whilst we carry out improvements to the touring areas. Such improvements include extending the left hand side road, levelling up pitches, tree maintenance, general landscaping and installing new electric meter boxes.

Holiday Home owners are advised that the power remains switched on over the winter months, so any items such as fridges left running will consume electricity and run their meter balance down until it runs out. To avoid using up unnecessary electricity, please ensure that all equipment and lighting is switched off.
