Watersports

Please note: Water skiing, Jet skiing, Sailing and Canoeing is restricted to owners of holiday homes or seasonally sited touring caravans at Cosgrove Park.

Water Skiing

All boat drivers must be suitably competent and hold a BWSF Ski Boat Drivers Award or RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate. Copies of which will be taken prior to use of the lake.

All boats must be covered by a suitable insurance policy which provides at least two million pounds third party liability cover.

A registration document, available from the Main Office must also be completed prior to using the lake. Each boat will be issued an ID number which is to be applied to the starboard side of the hull above the waterline and also on the stern.

All skiers, drivers, observers, boat occupants must wear a buoyancy aid.

Copies of all documents will be taken prior to use of the lake.

The cost of each session is £40.00.

Jet Skiing

All jet ski users must be suitably competent and hold a drivers competency certificate. Copies of which will be taken prior to use of the lake.

All jet skis must be covered by a suitable insurance policy which provides at least two million pounds third party liability cover.

A registration document, available from the Main Office must also be completed prior to using the lake.

Each jet ski will be issued an ID number which is to be applied to a visible location on the starboard side of the jet ski.

Copies of all documents will be taken prior to use of the lake.

The cost of each session is £15.00 and must be pre-booked.

All riders must wear a buoyancy aid.

Sailing, Windsurfing and Canoeing

Requirements:

Sailing - Lifejacket/Buoyancy Aid / Insurance / minimum competency level: RYA Level 2 Basic Skills

Windsurfing -  Lifejacket/Buoyancy Aid / Insurance / minimum competency level: Intermediate Windsurfing (non planing)
