Before I buy

Can I try the holiday home before I buy?

Depending on availability, you can take a short break in one of our holiday homes (charges apply) and see the park for yourself before buying.

Can I live at Cosgrove Park all the year around?

Holiday homes can be used for holidays or recreational use only, long-term occupancy is not allowed.  This is a requirement of our site license and planning permissions. Our open season is from the 1st of April until the 1st of November, so you can stay in the holiday home anytime during these dates.

I own a caravan at another park, can I bring it on to Cosgrove Park?

This may be possible. Please enquire at the sales office for more information.

What size pitches do you have available?

We have a wide range of different sized pitches, depending on availability. The best way to see these is to come and visit Cosgrove Park, or you can view them on our website (see the ownership section of our website).

Understanding costs

Can I pay for my purchase using finance?

There are a number of payment options avaialble, including paying by finance. Please enquire for more details.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

To secure your chosen holiday home, we normally will ask you to pay a deposit of £1,000. Payment arrangements can then be organised.  For more details on the sales process click here.

How much will I pay for annual site fees?

The first year's site fees are generally included when you purchase a holiday home.  Please speak to the sales team for more information on 01905 563360.

What other costs will I have to pay?

You will need to pay annual site fees, gas and electric, and insurance. There is a small charge for the mini golf, Lanes N Games bowling alley and tennis courts.

Facilities and other questions

Do I own my pitch?

No, your annual site fee gives you a licence to have your holiday home on the pitch, subject to the park rules and regulations.

Do I own my static caravan?

Yes, you are the owner of the static caravan.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, we welcome two dogs per caravan (non banned breeds) They must be kept on a lead at all times, apart from the dog exercise areas of the park, where they can be let off. Dog bins are provided throught the park.

What is there for my children to do? 

At Cosgrove Park there is a plethora of things to do for children and adults alike, such as the skate park, extensive children's play area, free non-powered water sports, out door gym equipment, outdoor heated swimming pool, large inflatable in the swimming pool (during the school summer holidays), mini golf, tennis courts and Bowling alley and arcade in Lanes N Games.

Do you organise events for owners? 

Yes, throughout the summer and warmer months we organise events for our customers.  Most of the events are completely free.  Take a look at the events section of our website for more information.

Is there a shop on park?

Yes, we have a park store selling essentials, newspapers and a small range of foods.

Is there a bar/restaurant on site?

We have the Lakeside Bistro and Lakeside Takeaway on site, we don't have a bar/pub on site, however there are several in the locality.

Where is the nearest supermarket?

As well as the park store, there are several supermarkets in the locality within a short drive of the park.

Can I install satellite TV in my caravan?

Yes this can be done, please speak to the sales team on 01908 563360 for more information.

Can I store my boat?

Yes, we have a storage area available for holiday home owners.  This is a chargeable facility.

Is my caravan secure when I’m not on site?

We have a dedicated security team and there are people on park throughout the year, 24 hours a day 7 days a week

Can I sub-let my holiday home?

The caravan can be used by you, your friends and family, however letting for commercial purposes is not allowed.

Can I upgrade my holiday home?

Yes, you can part exchange your caravan for a newer model. Please speak to the team from the sales office to find out more.

How long can I keep my caravan at Cosgrove Park?

Holiday Homes can be sited at Cosgrove Park for a maximum of 15 years from new. If your Holiday Home is Lakeside, you can keep it on the plot for 10 years and move to a non lakeside plot for a further 5 years, or you have the option to part exchange for another New one.

Am I responsible for gardening on my pitch?

We like our owners to take pride in their surroundings, you can use pots and planters to personalise your pitch, subject to certain conditions.  We expect that you keep your pitch tidy.
