One of the Most Exciting & Varied Fishing Experiences
Cosgrove Park offers holiday anglers and there families some of the most varied and exciting fishing to be had anywhere in the country.
With fourteen Lakes and two smaller pools, The Rivers Great Ouse and Tove run through the park and the Grand Union Canal is within easy walk.
Cosgrove Park lakes each cover between 1 and 25 acres and stock a variety of fish including specimen carp to over 35lb, big pike, bream and tench into double figures and good stocks of roach, rudd and perch.

Great fishing can be had on both rivers Gt Ouse and Tove (in season) with huge chub over 8lb, roach, perch, dace, bream and a possibility of a specimen barbel.

The Grand Union Canal offers all the usual species as well as a chance of a zander.
Superb Fishing Locations
Many customers can enjoy exclusive fishing rights in some of Cosgrove Park's Lakes at their own private fishing deck located on there holiday home or lodge holiday home plot.
Many lakes on the park such as Bream, Tench, Pike, Perch, Rainbow and Canada Lakes are open access and available to all our residents to enjoy away from caravan pitches.
Night fishing is also allowed on these lakes although vehicle access may be restricted during wet weather conditions and anglers must only use a proper 'bivvy' or fishing shelter.

Fishing for Junior Anglers (and there parents)
During the school summer holidays on a Tuesday and Thursday we offer 'Introduction to Angling' classes for all youngsters to come along and get some basic tuition and often catch there first fish on rod and line. All the tackle and bait is provided free of charge. This year due to popular demand we are offering an evening class on a Thursday for adults especially those whose children attended the introduction classes and wish to fish with them. They will get lots of tips and tricks on tying hooks, bait presentation and fish care!

Fishing Matches
Cosgrove Park has become well known for having a keen and very well supported residents match fishing scene. Each season we offer 7 matches for anglers to enjoy. Spaces for each match are offered on a first come first served basis as there is a limited number of spaces available. All anglers entering these matches must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency rod licence. Cost of entering is £5, fees will be added and paid out to the top three anglers!

Tackle and Bait
Basic fishing tackle and bait - including maggots can be purchased from the excellent on site shop.
