They say
time flies when you’re having fun and this season has certainly gone very
quickly for us at Cosgrove Park. We hope you have enjoyed it as much as we
have!
We’ve had
lots of fun-filled events & new additions taking place this year & now we are at the end of
another superb season, we thought it would be the perfect time to look back at
some of the highlights you’ve shared with us this year…….
As the 1st of April came around we were delighted to show off our modernised Swimming Pool which had been retiled over the winter. In addition, we presented the new Holiday Home developments: 'The Lawns' which is located by Island View & the continued extension of the 'Swan Lake' development. It has been wonderful to see our customers take residence of these plots & really make the developments come to life throughout the season.
So to kick
off to the 2017 season events we had our annual Easter Egg hunt which was great to see
so many residents and their families attend. We hope you had an egg-citing
time!
In May we
hosted an Open Weekend. This is always a wonderful way for people to take a
look at our park, see what it has to offer & appreciate how truly beautiful
it is. We are very happy & fortunate to have acquired some new residents as
a result of these open days.
The fishing
matches began with a splash in June and continued to have a great turnout along
with some amazing catches throughout the season. A big well done to Mick Wilson
for coming 1st overall in this season’s matches & thank you to
all the other anglers who showed their support to the matches throughout the
year.
Summer
finally got underway with the set up of the Marquee & the start of the evening’s
entertainment just in time for the school holidays…. With the tributes such as
the West End Jerseys, Abba’s Angels, & Lee Lard, along with the Bingo, Quiz,
Barn Dance & Movie Night, there was something for everyone to take part
& love! It was terrific to see so many people enjoying themselves and

With the
addition of some entertaining day events such as the Summer Fete, Children’s
Fun day, & Hovercraft Experience, it was the perfect way to get all the
family & friends together for some summer fun… The Summer fete accompanied
by the RSPCA Fun Dog Show & Carboot had an amazing turnout with lots of amusement
had by all. To top it all off we managed to raise an impressive total of
£400.15 for such a worthy cause with all the proceeds going to the RSPCA
Northamptonshire Branch.
With winter
just around the corner it came to celebrate our End of Season Fireworks spectacular.
As always, we had a wonderful turnout and despite the chilly weather &
blustering winds, everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
So there you
have it, the 2017 season has come to an end and It’s nearly Christmas once
again. We are already looking forward to welcoming you all back in the New
year!
