Hiring a Holiday Home/Glamping pod from Cosgrove Park...?
Then here is what you do and don't need to bring
What to pack to stay in one of a Static Holiday Homes
Short-Term Holiday Home
We supply clean bedding (including pillows), towels, tea-towels and a bathroom mat.
Pots, pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, microwave, toaster, cooker and a colour TV are all included in your Holiday Home, so there is no need to bring these with you.
Items we feel that you would need to bring with you are washing up materials and toilet rolls, as these are not supplied.
Irons are also not included, so pack one if it is a priority for you, but some may say that you should have a break from the ironing while on holiday.
Long-Term Holiday Home
You will need to bring all of the items you will need to make your stay 'Home from Home'.
What to pack if you're staying in one of our glamping pods
Our Glamping Pods are a unique way to have a break, experience camping with a little bit of added luxury!
All of our Glamping Pods include: Electric heater, double bed & a double sofa bed (suitable for 2 Children), 28inch TV/DVD, electric lighting, 240 volts sockets, USB socket, mini fridge and an electric kettle, everything you need for a great holiday.
Items you would need to bring are all your bedding (plus pillows) and some camping table & seating for your private outdoor space.
Please note: you are NOT able to cook inside your Pod, so please feel free to bring a 'disposable' BBQ, to enjoy that outdoor cooking experience!
It's a great idea to bring some food with you. The sorts of things to bring along are teabags and milk and maybe even some bread, which are needed on a fairly frequent basis. A lot of people bring food for a few meals and some essentials with them, then stock up later in the trip for other meals.
Please note: We do not have a license to sell Alcohol on-site, so please feel free to bring yours with you!
We've got a great convenience store on site, which you will be able to purchase most items you would need for your holiday. We also have our Lakeside Bistro serving up food, from delicious breakfast to Gastro-pub food, everything you could want for a great family holiday.
While there will be lots of facilities and activities for the Kids to do at Cosgrove Park. It might be a good idea to bring some items for those rainy days and there is the car journey to contend with too.
Get each of your children to pack a small rucksack of their favourite toys and gadgets to keep them entertained! For older children its always great family fun to play with some board games such as Monopoly or Cluedo. But don't worry if you forget some of the kids toys as the Park store sells a selection of fun games!
