About This Activity
During the school summer holidays, we are delighted to offer free children's fishing lessons, fondly called "Introduction to Angling." These sessions are designed to encourage youngsters aged 6 to 16 years to spend time by the lakeside in a safe, enjoyable, and responsible manner. Participants will learn the fundamentals of fishing and, in many cases, experience the excitement of catching their very first fish.
Key Information
We provide all the essential equipment and bait at no cost. However, we kindly ask parents to bring a seat for their child and ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather—especially in case of rain.
Capacity: Each session is limited to 4 children to ensure personalised attention.
Parental Supervision: A parent or guardian must remain present throughout the session.
Location: Canada Lake.
Session: Duration around 45 minutes

These sessions are open to children aged 4 to 16 years.

Children's Fishing Lessons at Cosgrove Park are exclusively for Cosgrove Park Customers and their guests only.
How To Book
- A maximum of 4 sessions can be booked per Holiday Home during the 6-week programme.
- Each session can accommodate a maximum of 2 children per plot.
- Bookings can be made starting one week prior to each session date.
- Participants must arrive 10 minutes before the session start time to ensure a smooth and timely beginning.
- Lessons are bookable one week in advance.
